Finish Drill

Purpose:

Route finishing drill.

Allows receiver to run 2^nd part of route looking for ball.

Works timing between receiver break and quarterback look/throw.

Setup:

QB – Cadence/Receive Snap/Set/“GO”, Throw To Receiver

          -Hit Receiver on break or allow to clear

Receiver- Fire Feet @ start cone facing downfield.

          -Fire until hear ‘GO’, then break to finish cone

Drill:

QB/C go through regular cadence and regular sequence of C/QB exchange.

On Coach command, receiver begins to fire his feet. On “GO” from QB, Receiver plants, breaks on route, runs to pre-determined spot (cone) and looks for the football.
